Midweek at Highlands continues April 24, 2024!

Dinner begins at 5:15 in the Atrium.

Adult elective classes are begin at 6:00. 

Children: Playtime - 5:30, music in sanctuary - 5:55, teaching time - 6:15 - 7:00.

Youth gather in The U at 5:30, play games at 5:45, and have worship and teaching at 6:15.

All activities end by 7:00.

The menu for Wednesday, April 24 includes barbecued ribs, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, and a cookie. A grilled chicken salad is also available as a meal. A kid’s meal includes chicken tenders, green beans, and a cookie. Adult meals are $6 each and kids’ meals are $4 each (family max is $24). Please reserve and pay for your meal in advance.

A new Midweek elective begins this Wednesday, March 20. Each week, a member of Highlands will give a personal testimony, followed by a time of questions and answers. The class will meet in Room 211, and is hosted by Joseph Wheat and Wesley Rule.

“Christ in the Old Testament”

 Join us as we take a fascinating journey through the many Old Testament predictions of the Advent and the accomplishments of Jesus, the long-awaited Messiah. It is exciting to see how the personal work of the coming Christ is clearly revealed throughout the pages of Old Testament history. This study is open to all adults.

For Men: “Let’s Study: Ephesians”

Brad Mercer • Room 210

A group discussion class for men based on Sinclair Ferguson's book, Let's Study Ephesians. From its opening account of the rich blessings we have in Christ, to the final chapter which walks us through the reality of spiritual warfare, the book of Ephesians sets before us the wonder of God's grace, the privilege of belonging to the church, and the pattern of life transformation the gospel produces. Books will be provided.
