Medical and personal care supplies are desperately needed in many communities in war-torn Ukraine. Crates for Ukraine is a project coordinated by the Presbyterian Church in America in conjunction with the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Ukraine to gather such supplies and get them to those in need expeditiously and economically. Highlands and other PCA churches in the U.S. are helping by filling crates with specific items and having them accompanied by a courier (church member) to the MTW Lviv team in Poland. This is a much more economical way to get the crates to Poland than merely sending them air freight with no courier, which would dictate that the crates go through customs, which could take months. The distribution of aid in Ukraine is overseen by Ukrainian pastors and Ukrainian believing community with whom our MTW teams have had trusted partnerships and relationships for over 30 years. They do a regular assessment of those who are in most need and how best to get the supplies to them.

There are two ways to help:

1. Contribute monetarily to a fund that will be used to purchase supplies and airline tickets for those willing to take the crates to Poland.

2. Purchase any of the supplies on this list, either by shopping locally or by ordering from Amazon via our Amazon Ukraine Registry. The items ordered from Amazon will be delivered to Highlands so that they can be packed for transport.

If you have questions, please contact Cindy Johnson. All items must be at Highlands no later than August 7, so time is of the essence.
