VBS DAY 5
Today’s theme was “The Lord Is My Promise Keeper” (Psalm 23:6).
What an amazing week it has been learning about the Good Shepherd and how He cares for His sheep. Just as David discovered throughout his life—first as a shepherd and later as a king—we learned important truths about the Lord: He is our Shepherd, Provider, Comforter, Leader, and Promise Keeper.
We wrapped up the week with our Boys vs. Girls missions giving competition to support our El Salvador Short Term team. The boys came out on top, which meant Emily Lane got splashed with a bucket of icy water! She was a great sport, and it provided plenty of laughs and excitement for everyone.
