Highlands Presbyterian Young Adult Ministry

Highlands Presbyterian Young Adults Ministry

The Young Adults ministry of Highlands Presbyterian Church brings together adults from out of college to early thirties, both single and married.  We seek to glorify God in teaching, study, community, and outreach. Young Adults at Highlands gather once a month for social events, participate in small groups, and join in weekly Sunday School.

For more information about Young Adults and how to get involved, contact Rev. Wesley Rule at wesley@highlandspca.org or at 601.622.0035.

June Update

Summer Studies

Grab a seat at the table as the Young Adult Women explore the meals of Jesus through the book of Luke! We'll meet for six weeks (June 3-July 8) on Tuesday evenings at Aplos in Ridgeland from 6-8pm. See you there!

Join the Young Adult Men in a study using Michael Reeves' book, What Does it Mean to Fear the LORD? We'll meet Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm. Connect to our GroupMe to see the location of the week!

Continue with us through Psalm 119 on Sundays!

Highlands at 5

Young Adults and Lighthouse communities, join us June 15 at 5pm in the Atrium for singing, teaching, fellowship, and food. We will be diving into the book of 1 Peter, and we encourage you to invite others to this event!

Foundations

The Highlands' Young Adults group holds quarterly meetings on Monday evenings called “Foundations”. We gather in the Atrium for a delicious dinner prepared by Hal and Barb Martin. Following dinner, we enjoy fellowship, teaching, and discussion led by Rev. Wesley Rule, the Young Adults ministry coordinator. This year, we will explore the teaching theme "From the Mouth of God," focusing on the transformative experience of delighting in the Bible. What a wonderful opportunity for Highlands young adults to grow in the knowledge of God's word and learn together.
