On Sunday, October 25th, we gathered outdoors on the Highlands grounds for our annual Harvest Festival, and we couldn't have asked for more perfect weather! What a joy to see families, children, and people of all ages come together to enjoy the afternoon! Everyone shared a  dinner of bratwurst, hamburgers, and hot dogs, followed by a wonderful assortment of homemade pies for dessert! Thanks to everyone who brought such a delicious variety of pies for us all to enjoy!

Live Celtic music filled the air as everyone gathered around tables for conversation and fellowship, while the children had a blast on the bounce houses and playing outdoor games. And what fun it was to see so many creative costumes worn by children and adults alike for our Costume Contest! Our Costume Contest winners were...

  • Most Creative ~ Salt & Pepper ~ Sara & Hannah Day

  • Best Family ~ Little Red Riding Hood ~ Chandler, Olivia & Riley Strain

  • Best Youth ~ Old Ladies ~ Lindley Strain & Emily Lane

  • Most Clever ~ Calvin & Hobbs ~ Thomas & Ian Harbaugh

  • Most Adorable ~ Dalmatian & Fireman~ The Taylor boys

  • Best Overall ~ Irish Leprechaun ~ Aidan Duncan

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this afternoon possible—from baking pies and organizing games, to setting up, cleaning up, and serving in so many ways. We are grateful for each of you! It was a beautiful fall afternoon filled with laughter, fun, and sweet fellowship with our Highlands church family!
