The 53rd General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in America, acting upon the overture of the Presbytery of the Mississippi Valley, calls our denominations to a solemn day of fasting and prayer for the revival and renewal of the church. As we humble ourselves before the Lord, we are invited to fast, pray, repent of our sins, mourn the spiritual poverty and divisions of the church, and seek God’s mercy and blessing. We will also pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, faithful preaching of the Word, the conversion of the lost, the planting of faithful churches, the spread of the gospel, and the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
All are welcome to join us in the Highlands Sanctuary for a meaningful time of worship, fasting, and prayer. Join us Monday, September 21, as we seek the Lord’s face while He may be found!
