Men’s Steak Supper Recap

On Sunday evening, September 20, the Fellowship Hall was filled with good food and fellowship as Highlands hosted a Men’s Steak Supper. Fathers and sons, neighbors and friends, young and old—all gathered together to share in a night designed to encourage and strengthen men in their walk with Christ. The evening began with a delicious steak dinner catered by Cey Let’s Eat Catering.  After dinner, Thomas Gandy led a fun game of trivia. Teams of all ages joined in, testing their knowledge and enjoying the fun competition. Next, Mike Murphy led the group in worship and singing several hymns. The highlight of the evening was hearing from Paul Hurst, attorney and former Chief of Staff to Governor Haley Barbour. Paul encouraged and challenged our men to grow in their faith and remain steadfast in their walk with God. A special thank-you goes to all who worked behind the scenes to make the night possible—the organizers, volunteers, and servants who poured their time and energy into creating a meaningful event. It was truly an evening of encouragement and joy shared among brothers in Christ.
