Nassau, Bahamas
July 4-11, 2026
( open to adults 18+ and to qualifying Highlands Student Ministry students attending with a parent or grandparent)
When we think of the Bahamas, our minds often wander to cruise ships and beautiful beaches. Although they are found there, it is not the true picture of Nassau and a large number of its citizens. There is a lot of extreme poverty and spiritual darkness.
Last Summer, Highlands sent two teams to Nassau to serve with MTW Missionaries Beverly and Tim Hart. We assisted them in conducting summer reading and enrichment camps with local elementary age children. The Lord allowed both teams to bond with Bahamian children and to plant the seeds of the Gospel. Our Theme verse was …that they may know the mystery of God, namely Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2&3
Please consider joining us in 2026 as we share the gospel and love of Christ to the Bahamian people.

San Salvador
September 5-12, 2026
( open to adults 18+ and to qualifying Highlands Student Ministry students attending with a parent or grandparent)
The mission team is located in the capital city of San Salvador and is led by veteran missionaries Rodney and Jana Davila. This team is planting a new church in San Salvador and is in the early phases focusing on relationship building. Our short term team will be primarily aiding these missionaries in developing new relationships with English language learners at the University of Central America, the National University of El Salvador, and an English language club. Highlands previously sent a vision trip team when the El Salvador Mission was being established as well as a short term mission team in 2024 led by Chip and Cindy Johnson. Join us this September as we dive into Salvadorian culture and aid these long term MTW missionaries in planting a church so that the gospel can transform lives and bring hope to El Salvador!
