Highlands Student Ministry RYM Recap

Highlands Student Ministry had two wonderful weeks at RYM this summer, with our Junior High students attending June 22–26 and our Senior High students attending July 3–7. Both trips were a tremendous success! Students enjoyed beach time, games, elective classes, meaningful worship, serving a meal to the camp, and building lasting friendships, all while growing in their faith.

This year's theme, "Further Along," centered on the truth of sanctification. Students were reminded that through God's amazing grace, He meets us where we are, but because He loves us, He doesn't leave us there. As we follow Christ, He faithfully transforms us more and more into His likeness.

We are thankful for the many ways the Lord worked in the lives of our students over these two weeks and look forward to seeing how He continues His work in them.

A special thank you to our Highlands church family who prepared thoughtful goody bags and faithfully prayed for our students, leaders, and safe travels. Your love, generosity, and support were a tremendous encouragement.

We are also deeply grateful to Michael Hawkins for his faithful leadership and investment in our students, as well as to the chaperones who generously gave their time and energy to make these trips possible! See all the photos HERE!
